Regular relocation fee
If you're unable to return the bike to an available drop-off location indicated in the app, you will be charged a 5 EUR relocation fee.
If the bike is further away from the next available hub, different fees apply:
– 5 EUR (VAT included) if the Vehicle is within 500m from the nearest available Hub
– 15 EUR (VAT included) if the Vehicle is within 5km from the nearest available Hub
– 50 EUR (VAT included) if the Vehicle is within 50km from the nearest available Hub
For additional distances, the Rider will be charged depending on the cost of the vehicle: (If the bike(s) are returned more than 50km away from closest drop-off location, the case will be treated as a lost bike. Read Terms and Conditions for charges applied to Lost Bikes.)
– 180 EUR for a pedal bike
– 600 EUR for an e-bike
– 450 EUR for an e-scooter
– 300 EUR for a trailer
The drop-off locations are marked in the App, together with number of bikes permitted to be dropped off in each one of them.
You will receive an email about this charge.
This fee is also applied if we recover a missing bike. This fee is to cover the vehicle transport and manpower cost needed to move the bike around the city.
Harm to third parties
If the bike(s) are returned in an illegal way that harms any third parties, or causes trouble with public authorities, the costs will be passed onto the Rider or Organiser.
Minimum cost in such cases is 50 EUR fee. If the costs exceed 50 EUR, they will be passed on to the organiser. For example, if the bike is removed by authorities due to not-permitted parking, or if Donkey Republic is fined due to such parking, these will constitute such fines.
